Overview

At Flex India, I led the design and scaling of an enterprise Design System used across multiple data-rich, mission-critical applications. The system standardized reusable components, design tokens, and governance guidelines, translating complex business and operational workflows into clear information architecture and production-ready designs.

The Challenge

Multiple distributed product teams were building UI independently, leading to inconsistent patterns, duplicated components, slower development cycles, and a growing gap between design intent and engineering implementation across enterprise platforms.

My Role & Approach

• Audited existing UI patterns across products to identify redundancy and inconsistency.
• Defined a scalable component library and design token architecture covering color, typography, spacing, and interaction states.
• Authored governance guidelines and contribution workflows to keep the system consistent as it scaled across teams.
• Partnered daily with 7+ cross-functional, geographically distributed teams in an Agile delivery model to drive adoption and gather feedback.
• Championed AI-assisted design workflows to accelerate prototyping and implementation.

Results

• Reduced UI development effort by 60–70% through reusable, production-ready components.
• Achieved enterprise-wide adoption across distributed engineering and design teams.
• Established a consistent, accessible design language across all products.

Overview

Led the transformation of an enterprise design system to support AI-assisted development, implementing a centralized stylesheet architecture with standardized design tokens so that both humans and AI coding agents could reliably consume and extend the system.

The Challenge

As teams began adopting AI-assisted development tools, inconsistent, scattered styling conventions made it difficult for AI agents to generate on-brand, production-ready UI code, slowing adoption and increasing manual cleanup after generation.

My Role & Approach

• Consolidated fragmented styles into a centralized, well-documented stylesheet architecture with standardized design tokens.
• Structured naming conventions and component patterns to be predictable and machine-readable for AI coding agents.
• Partnered with engineering to validate that AI-generated UI output matched design system standards out of the box.
• Rolled out documentation and guidelines to help teams adopt AI-assisted workflows without sacrificing design consistency.

At Alten Calsoft Labs, I designed and developed responsive web and mobile interfaces, ensuring seamless experiences across devices, screen sizes, and platforms for a range of client products.

The Challenge

Client products needed to work reliably across a wide range of devices and screen sizes, while keeping stakeholders aligned on user journeys and interaction flows before any development work began.

My Role & Approach

• Created wireframes and mockups to define layout and content hierarchy across breakpoints.
• Built interactive prototypes to visualize user journeys and validate flows with stakeholders ahead of development handoff.
• Designed mobile-first, then progressively enhanced layouts for tablet and desktop breakpoints.
• Collaborated closely with developers to ensure design intent was preserved through implementation.
